這首旋律優美帶點感傷的歌曲有不同的中譯歌詞，
但是，我第一次聽到的，卻是台語的歌詞。
填詞者是誰？待考。

台語版很多教會的詩班都唱過，歌名為「進入王城」。
找不到好聽的影片，可惜！

我認為台語歌詞填得不錯，
把基督徒即天路客旅的意境表達出來了。
十七世紀的本仁約翰（John Bunyan, 1628-1688）撰寫的《天路歷程》，
述說基督徒行天路時遇見的種種困難和阻礙，
以及路途上所看見形形色色的天路客。
基督徒必須堅持信仰，最終才能克服萬難，到達郇山。

我們是天路客旅，不知道現在的基督徒有多少人還能有這種自覺？
在旅途中，用說的恐怕比實踐來得容易。
大部分的時候，我們比較像是變貌山上的彼得，
想要搭起帳棚住下來。
我們想要擁有，擁有名、利、權，擁有安定和熟悉，
甚於往前行。
前行，行向水深之處，行向未知，行向完全依靠上帝。

這首「進入王城」，提醒我們是天路客旅。
說真的，如果我蒙主恩召的時候到了，
這首「進入王城」會列在我的故人愛吟的清單中。
